| Amidst a decline in worldwide retail motorcycle sales, Harley Davidson stated on 16 October 2009 that it will discontinue its Buell line of performance motorcycles. The company will continue to sell the remaining inventory of Buell motorcycles through authorized dealers, and warranty coverage as well as parts and service will continue to be offered through the dealerships. | ||||
