Hayabusa
Model Facts: The Suzuki Hayabusa was introduced in 1999. The name Hayabusa translates directly from the Japanese as Peregrine Falcon, a bird of prey commonly attributed of achieving speeds of over 200 mph, making it the fastest animal in the world. The common blackbird and other smaller animals often fall prey to the Falcon. Is it any coincidence the Hayabusa was introduced as the fastest, most powerful production bike in the world, removing the Honda CBR1100XX (known as the Super Blackbird) from the top. Soon thereafter the Hayabusa earned its place in the Guinness Book of Records for the same. The early years of the Hayabusa claimed 175bhp at the crank from it's 1300cc in-line four-cylinder four-stroke engine and has since evolved into a stronger predator. The Hayabusa could reach from 0-100 km/h in just three seconds flat. On March 27, 2010, the hayabusa was the vehicle to capture the all-time record for the standing mile on a motorcycle with an amazing run of 261.500 mph!
